Quality
I give you the Drop Dead RDA by Hellvape. Designed in collaboration with the well known YouTube reviewers Heathen and The Vaper Chronicles. This RDA is a mash up of the Dead Rabbit and The Drop. Both RDA’s were hugely successful in their own right. What Hellvape have done here is bring together all the best parts of both those RDA’s into one package.
This 24mm diameter dual coil atomizer is available in 8 different colors including red, blue, stainless steel and gold. It has a huge build deck comprising of 4 large post holes for easy coil installation. You have plenty of space to accommodate coils of any size. Under the posts you will find a deep juice well that can hold plenty of eliquid. The likely hood of this RDA leaking is very low due to the high airflow position.
Talking of airflow, it is super smooth and angled downwards, directly onto your coils. A bonus for those that like to purge without getting vapor on your face. The outer barrel is internally notched to allow for easy removal from your device. Visually this RDA is beautiful to look at. The 810 drip dip provided is a two piece tip with metal base ring that blends in with the top cap giving it a high end look. Absolutely stunning!
Price
You’d think being a highly publicized and anticipated RDA, would mean that it would cost you an arm and a leg. Retailing at around the $29.99 USD or $41 AUD mark, it’s bang on for the money, considering the Dead Rabbit and The Drop are of similar price. You’re practically getting two RDA’s for the price of one. Who would recommend this RDA to? Squonkers or drippers looking for a good quality, dual coil RDA with huge build space and super smooth airflow.
Packaging
In the box you’ll find your RDA with a matching resin drip tip, a spare black delrin drip tip, a stainless steel 510 drip tip adaptor ring, four spare post screws, spare o-rings, two screwdrivers, allen wrench key, a raised b/f pin for squonking, a limited edition drop dead sticker plus the usual plethora of instructions and warnings.
The branding is very Hellvapeish. I found it to be very similar to the old Dead Rabbit packaging. Minimal and basic. This packaging is no frills and its all really about whats inside the box. So there you go, a little review by me, rabbiting on about the collaboration of two of the best RDA’s of 2017, to make one of the best for 2018.
