Quality
Today I will be reviewing the Moonshot by Sigelei & Suprimo RTA. It is a 22mm diameter tank holding 2ml capacity of eliquid. The tank is mainly made out of 304 stainless steel with two color options including stainless steel and black. The Moonshot features a two post deck design for dual coil use only. The deck is marketed towards a cotton controlled build. From personal experience I have found it very hard to build on due to the deck being in two separate parts. You have to use the extra Allen key to lock the two together to keep the deck stable whilst installing your coils. So unfortunately its not the easiest RTA to work on, even for a fairly experienced vaper.
Dual adjustable airflow is standard as is the top fill function on the tank. The oddly shaped stubby drip tip I felt was too short for me, but other vapes may like it. The performance of the Moonshot is good across the board. It vapes from 30 watts, all the way up to 200 watts ( if you dare! ). It does gets a bit warm upwards of 100 watts. This tank guzzles your juice on higher wattage’s which creates a problem since the tank can only hold 2ml. The flavor is pretty good and it produces pretty decent clouds, if your into that kind of thing.
Price
You can pick yourself up a Moonshot by Sigelei & Suprimo RTA for around $39.95 USD. I’d say it’s a good buy for the experienced vaper’s wanting a cheap backup tank to play around with. It is definitely not for a beginner vaper.
Packaging
The packaging for the Moonshot is quite unique. The whole kit and caboodle comes in an old fashioned metal tobacco tin. It features lovely artwork and branding. I found it to be awesome for storage as well. Sigelei have put these tins to use themselves and made a mod out of them. The Sigelei VCIGO Moon Box Mod, which sell’s separately. Ingenious stuff that works and the retro vaper’s will love it. Inside your container you will find the tank, a spare glass section, o-rings, spare grub screws for the build deck posts and two different sized Allen keys ( one for the grub screws and the other for the build deck base ). Not forgetting there’s the warranty cards, battery safety cards and instructions too. Overall it presents very well and I love the idea.
